KinderMinds, which is led by Dr. Elizabeth Smith, specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of school-aged children with neuroeducational disorders.
Dr. Smith has over twenty-five years of experience diagnosing and treating school-aged children with neuroeducational disorders in various public, private and clinical settings. She has helped more than two thousand parents understand why their child is struggling in school and what they can do to help their child realize their full academic potential.
She holds a Ph.D., M.A. and B.S. in Learning Disabilities from Northwestern University (Evanston, IL). The Learning Disabilities program at Northwestern University is internationally recognized as a pioneer in the field of learning disorders. Graduates of this program are widely regarded as some of the world’s foremost learning experts on neuroeducational disorders.
Dr. Smith currently serves on the Board of the Washington State chapter of the Learning Disabilities Association of America and previously served on the Board of the Washington State chapter of the International Dyslexia Association.
She has also served as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Education at Seattle Pacific University.
