If your child has
been diagnosed with a learning disability, you should investigate whether your child
would benefit from the Kinderminds Remediation Program.
The Remediation
Program is a one-on-one, individually-tailored intervention program designed to
remediate your child's underlying processing weaknesses while teaching him/her the
necessary skills and strategies to become a successful learner. The specific
goals, materials, and instructional methods are selected based on the unique needs
of each child.
A child enrolled
in the Remediation Program will attend one or two 55-minute sessions per week with
Dr. Smith. The sessions are held at the KinderMinds office in
Bellevue
.
The remediation
program, which runs forty weeks per year, is broken down into four terms:
-
Fall September-December
(15 weeks)
-
Winter January-March
(10 weeks)
-
Spring April-June (10
weeks)
-
Summer July-August (5 weeks
intensive)
The week after the
end of each term is set aside for make-up sessions. In the event that your
child misses one of his/her scheduled sessions, he/she may attend a make-up
session at no additional cost.
In order to secure
a space in the program, a deposit is required. The balance of the tuition
is due at the time of the first remediation session.
